65th National Awards, 2018

National Film Award (India's Oscar equivalent) jury finally woke up after Thespian Sridevi's grand finale, a 5-decade affair with Indian Cinema.

Janhvi Kapoor along with Khushi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor was in Delhi to receive the prestigious National Award on behalf of the late Sridevi on May 3rd, 2018. Janhvi Kapoor was dressed in saree from her mommy's personal collection while receiving the National Award for Best Actress on her behalf. 

Sridevi had worn this very saree last at Tollywood actor Ram Charan Teja’s wedding. She finished her look with side-swept tresses that cascaded effortlessly down her shoulder. Simple hair and minimal makeup rounded her lookout by Manish Malhotra. 

Khushi Kapoor sported a multi-colored earthy-toned boat-neck blouse. Unlike Janhvi, her look was more contemporary, as she color-blocked the plain muted grey shade with the vibrantly printed design by Manish Malhotra.

Sridevi’s award was given by President, Ram Nath Kovind and Information and Broadcasting and Textiles Minister, Smriti Irani. 

Boney looked teary eyed.
