37th Annual Filmfare Awards

The 37th Filmfare Awards were held in 1992. Lamhe led the ceremony with 13 nominations, won 5 awards, including Best Film, Best Director for Yash Chopra, Best Comedian for Anupam Kher, Best Actor Nomination for Anil Kapoor, Best Supporting Actress nomination for Waheeda Rehman, Best Lyrics nomination for Anand Bakshi (Kabhi Main Kahoon), Best Story for Honey Irani, Best Dialogue for Rahi Masoom Raza, thus becoming the most-awarded film at the ceremony. Sridevi also received Filmfare Best Actress Award for her role in 'Lamhe' from Shatrughan Sinha at Filmfare Award function in Bombay, on June 1st, 1992.
