Rangeela (1995)

"Right after Kshana Kshanam, I was keen to cast Sridevi, Nagarjuna and Rajinikanth in my next. It was a love triangle set against the backdrop of cinema but Sridevi and Nagarjuna did not find it exciting enough. I later made it in Hindi as Rangeela."

“We were not the first choice for the film. Originally, Sridevi, Nagarjuna and a Tamil star were supposed to be in the film. The Tamil star was out, then Sridevi and somebody else. A lot went down in the character casting and eventually we three were finalised.”
