Thirumayil Peeli Nirukayil Kuthi [Swapnangal] 🎶

Sridevi played a blind girl, Rajamma, in the Malayalam film Swapnangal (1970). The director instructed the seven-year-old Sridevi that the only way she could portray being visually challenged was to constantly blink her eyes. It is touching, hence, to see the child who had sat on the compound wall for hours obeying her mother, blink so untiringly throughout the movie.
