State Record: Devudichina Koduku is the first film to get 8 screenings in a single theatre in any centre in the two states and all 8 shows were full due to the Shivaratri festival in Ananthapur. This had a last minute release in this town.

Senior fans of ANR released a pamphlet claiming 8 housefull shows of Sreevaari Mucchattlu were finished on January 1981 at Navrang theatre in Kurnool on its first day as a State Record but Devudichina Koduku had 8 full house shows on its first day at Raghuveer theatre in Ananthapur almost 10.5 months before. Hence, Sreevaari Mucchattlu could only level the State Record but not better it.
