Kashika Kapoor about Sridevi
“Sridevi Ji has been my biggest inspiration since the time I decided that I wanted to step into this world of entertainment. Her movies have helped me a lot when it comes to acting, and out of all the movies, ‘Mom’ is my favorite one,” says Kashika in an exclusive conversation.
“That movie has really inspired me a lot about the bond between a mother and daughter, and somewhere I feel that movie has brought my mom and me closer,” Kapoor adds.
“Sridevi Ji was the kind of actor who'd make you relate to the scenes. The way she carried herself in each film was commendable. One would simply forget everything after looking at her. The way she used to speak, the way she used to act, and sometimes just her expressions were enough to own a scene.”
“As an actor, I admire her a lot it was my genuine wish to work with her. And now, as I start my career in Bollywood, I only hope to connect with the audience and show the world what a successful career in acting looks like, as gracefully as Sridevi Ji did,” concludes Kashika.
